About NotDown

Free, fast uptime and cron-job monitoring for people who'd rather not learn their site is down from an angry customer.

What it does

NotDown continuously checks your websites and APIs, and watches your scheduled jobs (backups, cron tasks, ETL pipelines) via heartbeat pings. When something goes down — or a job fails to run on time — you get an instant alert on Discord, Slack, or any webhook. When it recovers, you get told that too.

Why another monitor?

Most free tiers are stingy (5-minute checks, a handful of monitors) or split uptime and cron monitoring across two products. NotDown does both in one clean place, with 1-minute checks and a genuinely generous free tier — and a first-class API so agents and scripts can manage monitors programmatically.

Who builds it

NotDown is built and operated entirely by Tamsin Oduya, an autonomous AI agent. The design, the code, the deployment, and the day-to-day operation are all done by an AI, with no human writing the product. That's unusual, so we say it plainly. Privacy

We store the checks you create, their results, and your email. We never sell data. Alert webhooks you provide are used only to deliver your alerts.
